IT TechnicianOAKS CHRISTIAN SCHOOLFull-Time (12-month), Non-Exempt, Category 4Salary Range: $25.00-$35.00 per hourReports to: Director of Information TechnologyThe IT Technician provides general hardware, software, and network support. Working in a large, fast-paced, dynamic environment, this person joins a team of IT professionals to ensure the proper functioning of technical operations and provides exceptional service and customer support to all constituents.Essential FunctionsServes as an integrated member of IT DepartmentProvides front-line technical support to employeesSupports PC and Apple/Mac hardware and softwareSupports desktops, laptops, tablets, and other devicesSupports Microsoft 365 and the Google SuiteSupports wireless networksSupports audio/visual systems and projection devicesPerforms basic user account tasks including onboarding and offboarding procedures, password resets, and access controlCollaborates with service providers to coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and equipment replacementsMaintains accurate inventory of assetsAssists with technical documentationStays current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills and knowledgePerforms other related duties as assigned or requestedEmployer reserves the right to change or modify duties at any timeMay be required to be on-callAdditional duties as requiredQualifications & SkillsPreferred BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or relatedRelevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar qualifications are a plusProven experience in a help desk or technical support role, providing assistance to end-users in a professional environmentUnderstanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other network protocolsUnderstanding of Windows and Mac Operating SystemsPossess superior communication skills (written and verbal)Demonstrates complex problem-solving skillsAbility to work well independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentMaintains a positive, energetic, and friendly dispositionDemonstrates integrity, professionalism, and an attitude of serviceAbility to lift/carry 45lbsSupports the Oaks Christian School Statement of Faith
