Job Description

This role supports a large distribution center in Cheyenne, WY that serves dozens of retail locations. Warehouse Workers play a key part in the flow of merchandise by unloading incoming trailers, preparing products for storage, and loading outbound trailers for shipment to stores. You work in either Shipping or Receiving, handling a wide variety of heavy and large items and ensuring they are processed safely and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers by hand.
• Stack products onto pallets for storage and shipping.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, stock, and load products for store shipments.
• Inspect products for damage or defects.
• Handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and orders.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
• Meet productivity and accuracy goals.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Participate in training and follow all safety guidelines.

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable with physical labor and heavy lifting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in a loud and busy distribution center.
• Ability to pass required screenings and background checks.

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Familiarity with RF scanners.
• Experience using pallet jacks.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Material handling and inventory experience.
• General labor experience such as stacking, sorting, and moving products.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

• Multiple shifts available:
  • Day Shift
  • Night Shift
  • Weekend Shift
• Overtime may be required.
• Includes:
  • One 30-minute unpaid break
  • Two 15-minute paid breaks

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, WY.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $21.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Cheyenne,WY.
