Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards CNC (Configurable Network Computing) Consultant to join our growing team. This position will involve working closely with clients to design, implement, and support JDE EnterpriseOne technical environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CNC architecture, system administration, and upgrade/migration support across both on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires a strong technical foundation in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, along with hands-on experience managing environments, orchestrator setups, tools releases, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Environment Management:
Administer and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of the CNC architecture across various platforms (Windows, UNIX, Linux, and/or Cloud).

Deployment & Change Management:
Manage and execute package builds, deployments, and tools releases; ensure effective promotion and version control processes across development, test, and production environments.

Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize system performance, perform tuning and troubleshooting of the JDE application servers, web servers, and database connectivity.

Security & Compliance:
Implement and maintain security settings, user roles, and access controls to ensure compliance with organizational and client requirements.

Backup & Disaster Recovery:
Develop and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for JDE environments; ensure business continuity planning is in place and tested.

Integration & Orchestrator Support:
Support integrations between JD Edwards and third-party systems; manage Orchestrator Studio configurations and troubleshoot related workflows.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support for JDE infrastructure issues; coordinate with Oracle and internal teams for problem resolution.

Documentation & Training:
Maintain technical documentation including system architecture, environment topology, and operational procedures. Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to client and internal support teams.

Collaboration with Functional & Development Teams:
Work closely with JDE functional consultants, developers, and database administrators to ensure that system performance and architecture align with business and technical requirements.

Key Requirements

Experience:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a JD Edwards CNC Consultant or Administrator.
• Proven experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne installation, upgrades, and tools releases.
• Experience supporting multi-environment, multi-server architectures (e.g., development, test, production).
• Familiarity with Orchestrator Studio , Server Manager , WebLogic , and AIS Server setup and maintenance.
• Experience managing JDE in cloud environments (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) is a strong plus.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of JD Edwards technical architecture, including enterprise servers, web servers, and database layers.
• Proficiency in SQL, database tuning, and CNC troubleshooting .
• Experience with package builds, ESU installs, and object management .
• Knowledge of JDE security models, OMW, and change management processes .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently or within a team.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC or related certifications are a plus but not required.
• Relevant Oracle or cloud infrastructure certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS Solutions Architect) preferred.
