Speech Language Pathologist

Provide specialized speech and language therapy services to a diverse patient population, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult clients. Responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities of patients across various age groups.
• Develop and implement evidence-based care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
• Adhere to unit policies, maintain HIPAA compliance, and ensure quality standards.
• Perform additional duties related to patient care and unit operations as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Valid Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Neonatal and Barium Swallow Study experience required; pediatric and adult experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Strong communication, motivation, and independence in clinical responsibilities.
• Ability to efficiently collaborate with healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment.
