Associate Software Engineer- Full Stack TypeScript/React/C#

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Participate in the design, implementation, and test of firmware/software systems.Understand hardware and software interactions.Participate in the development of designs and test documentation.Develop knowledge of SEL engineering processes.Develop knowledge of SEL products and technology.Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.Understand. Simplify.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Include: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalentKnowledge in one or more of the following areas:Object oriented design - Object oriented languages (C#)Graphical User Interface applications in Window environments including object oriented design and object oriented languages (C#)Web application development including back-end webservices (ASP.NET, C#) and front-end web design (React, typescript)Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skillsAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitiesAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications Include:Experience with C# and Typescript developmentWeb development experience with ReactExperience with user experience (UX) designExperience with revision control systems (Git) Experience with automated testing (Jest, NUnit)General understanding of cybersecurity, user authentication and authorizationExperience working with a teamLocation: Boise, IDThis position is located in Boise, ID, capital of the gem state, and on the Boise River in the southwestern part of the state.
