Drafting Technician

*Please note, our office will be moving from downtown Seattle to Bellevue in spring 2026* Walker Consultants is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafting Technician to join our Seattle office. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to support a wide range of restoration and repair projects. From developing Revit models and construction drawings to assisting with field investigations and condition assessments, you’ll play a key role in turning technical concepts into real-world solutions. What You’ll Do Prepare project drawings and construction documents in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD based on redlines/markups, following Walker and industry standards. Develop and manage detailed 3D models in Revit. Coordinate drawings with internal design teams and external clients. Assist with field condition assessments, documentation, and developing repair solutions. Support project managers by reviewing construction progress, preparing field reports, and completing punch lists. What You’ll Bring 2+ years of experience in drafting OR Associate degree in Engineering/Architectural Technology, Building Construction Technology, or a related field, OR relevant drafting certification. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD (required). Experience in structural, architectural, or construction disciplines (preferred). Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Clear written and verbal communication skills. A team‑first mindset and strong attention to detail.
