Senior Communications Specialist

About the role:

As a CBRE Senior Communications Specialist, you will consult with internal partners and outside vendors to create written and visual communication plans.

This job is part of the Communications job function. They are responsible for developing internal communications that connect employees to organizational values, strategy, and performance

What you'll do

• Support the development of communications plans, including content and activation strategies. Ensure that key messages align with business strategies and values.

• Draft and edit internal communications, including leadership messages, presentations, memos, newsletters, and intranet content. Support management with messaging for town halls and all-hands meetings.

• Proactively identify and develop compelling story ideas and content that inform, engage, and connect employees across internal platforms and channels.

• Identify and track KPIs and engagement metrics and regularly report on outcomes.

• Manage and maintain internal communications calendars, distribution lists, and content libraries.

• Help with complex projects and internal communications strategies, including change management and organizational announcements.

• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

• Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years ofrelevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience andeducation will be considered.

• Strong written and verbal communications skills,with the ability to adapt tone and format for different audiences and channels.

• Understanding of existing procedures andstandards to solve slightly complex problems.

• Experience managing multiple projectssimultaneously in a fast-paced environment a plus.

• Experience with internal communicationsplatforms (e.g., Cerkl, SharePoint, Engage, etc. or similar) preferred.

• Ability to translate complex businessinformation into clear, engaging content for diverse employee audiences.

• Ability to analyze possible solutions usingtechnical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitivemindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Communications position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $90,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
