Position Overview The Area Manager is responsible for the overall performance of multiple restaurant locations, including sales growth, profitability, operational execution, guest experience, and talent development. This role requires regular travel between assigned locations and close partnership with General Managers to ensure consistent execution of brand standards and business objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesMulti -Unit Operations Leadership * Oversee daily operations across multiple QSR locations * Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, policies, and procedures * Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate operations, service, cleanliness, and food quality * Provide hands-on support and coaching to General Managers and shift leadership teams Financial Performance & Accountability * Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across all assigned locations * Monitor key performance indicators including labor, food cost, and controllable expenses * Analyze P&L statements and implement action plans to improve performance * Hold General Managers accountable for achieving financial and operational goals Leadership & Team Development * Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop General Managers and store leadership teams * Build strong bench strength and succession planning across all locations * Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development support * Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance Guest Experience & Brand Standards * Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered across all locations * Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and service metrics * Implement corrective action plans when performance gaps are identified * Protect and strengthen brand reputation in the market Operational Excellence * Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards * Support staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning initiatives * Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements * Partner with support teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives QualificationsRequired Experience * 3-5+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience in a QSR or fast-paced environment * Proven experience as an Area Manager, District Manager, or equivalent role * Strong background in high-volume restaurant operations Skills & Competencies * Strong leadership and team development abilities * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Proven financial acumen and P&L management experience * Ability to analyze data and drive operational improvements * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based leadership role Preferred Background * Experience with national or regional QSR brands * Strong drive-thru, takeout, or high-volume service experience * Proven track record of developing General Managers and improving store performance Compensation & Benefits * Annual Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 * Bonus Program (performance-based) * Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Paid Time Off * Career Growth Opportunities * Mileage/Travel Reimbursement (if applicable) Company Description The Restaurant Zone is a leading hospitality recruitment agency specializing in connecting top-tier talent with restaurants, hotels, and hospitality groups across the United States.
