Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise and the ability to handle emergency situations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department while adhering to hospital protocols.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Assess patient conditions accurately and prioritize treatments in urgent care scenarios.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses as required.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Document patient information promptly and accurately in Meditech or relevant documentation systems.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  
  
• 
  Hold an active Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS is required.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Proficient in Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform procedures such as intubation, conscious sedation, and stroke management.
