Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Neuro ICU and possess the necessary certifications to provide exceptional patient care. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a crucial role in the management and treatment of critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to neuro patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to emergencies.
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including medication drips as prescribed.
• Assist with procedures such as heart catheterizations, central line placements, and non-invasive procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 1-year current hospital ICU experience.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required; must be included in submission packet.
• Experience in a Neuro ICU setting is mandatory.
• Prior Meditech experience is preferred.
