Financial Analyst

CBTS is looking to add a Financial Analyst contractor to our staff on a 6 month contract opportunity. This role would require a HYBRID schedule (2 days/wk onsite) at our headquarters in Cincinnati, OH W2 hourly rate: 45-50/hr Key Responsibilities Analyze financial data and business performance metrics to support strategic planning and operational decision-making. Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to track KPIs across IT projects and business units. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business cases, ROI, and cost-benefit analyses for new initiatives. Monitor budget adherence, variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership. Having good exposure in handling GST, Income Tax, and Payroll. Support pricing strategies, contract analysis, and vendor financial evaluations. Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the IT or technology sector. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Preferred Skills Knowledge of IT service delivery models, project costing, and resource utilization metrics. Experience in business case development and strategic financial planning. Familiarity with Agile/DevOps environments and their financial implications.
