Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 0700-1730 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Stroke Certification, Advanced Dysrhythmia Interpretation EKG Test required Must-Have: - Good understanding of telemetry - Excellent communication skills - Strong critical thinking abilities Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in a telemetry unit, monitoring patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and administering medications as needed. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care. The position requires the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient conditions. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure. This role involves educating patients and their families about health conditions and care plans. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The RN will participate in ongoing professional development and training as needed.
