Product Development Intern, Packaging and Labeling Adhesives - Summer 2026 Henkel invites a motivated intern to join our Adhesive Technologies business unit, where we empower our people to transform industries and provide customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. What You'll Do Develop and optimize adhesive formulations in the lab for consumer goods packaging applications. Conduct sustainability assessments of newly developed adhesives to evaluate environmental impact and recyclability. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align adhesive performance with packaging sustainability goals. Perform testing and analysis to ensure adhesives meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment, following all safety protocols and best practices. Document experimental results and contribute to technical reports, supporting data‑driven decision‑making. What Makes You a Good Fit A rising junior graduating in 2028, a rising senior graduating in 2027, or a master’s/graduate student pursuing a degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Knowledge of organic chemistry and material science, with formulation experience preferred. Basic understanding of sustainability, especially in packaging and materials. Henkel's Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27, 2026, and runs through mid‑August. Recruitment for 2026 internships begins in late August 2025 and continues through early March 2026 or until all positions are filled. Following the internship, you may be invited to join Henkel as a returning intern or full‑time employee. Compensation Salary: $22–$27 per hour (the posted range may be adjusted in the future).
