Stinger Bridge & Iron, an AISC certified structural steel fabricator and PCI certified precast concrete girder fabricator and erection contractor. Stinger focuses primarily on the Southwestern Bridge and Highway market, specializing in bridge projects. Stinger fabricates in its Coolidge, Arizona facility located south of the Phoenix/Chandler/Gilbert area and erects work in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. For additional information about our company visit our website at POSITION SCOPE:Stinger Bridge & Iron is seeking Ironworkers positions that will specialize in establishing and installing steel or iron frames meant for the construction of a building and other structures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructionsUnload and stack prefabricated iron and steel so that it can be lifted with slingsSignal crane operators who lift and position structural and reinforcing iron and steelUse shears, rod-bending machines, torches, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, bend, and weld the structural and reinforcing iron and steelAlign structural and reinforcing iron and steel vertically and horizontally, using tag lines, plumb bobs, lasers, and levelsConnect iron and steel with bolts, wire, or weldsInstall metal decking  QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an apprenticeship or experience in the fieldAbility to pass per-employment drug-testMust be able to lift 75 pounds Stinger Bridge & Iron is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and an Equal Opportunity Employer of Individuals with Disabilities and Protected Veterans.Pre-employment physical and drug testing are required.If you require an accommodation to apply, please email View email address on ziprecruiter.com to request it.
