Position Summary RESIDENTIAL HVAC Service Technician Location: Raleigh, NC, 27617 Responsibilities An HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The technician will also be responsible for offering the customer a high-quality experience, making recommendations, and educating customers on products. Looking to start your career? Qualifications 2-5+ years of HVAC experience, preferably focused on residential markets EPA Certification is required Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three years of driving experience Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills for resolving complex HVAC issues Positive attitude and strong commitment to high‑quality workmanship Prioritizes exceptional customer service and effectively addresses diverse client needs Skilled in interacting professionally with individuals at all organizational levels Flexible and innovative team player, thriving in dynamic environments and adapting to new challenges Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work Ability to drive and work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces; stand, walk, sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms Work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow Benefits Medical insurance for employees, with options for family Supplemental plans (including short‑term and long‑term disability) Dental / Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match 32 hours of PTO 40 hours of vacation (80 hours after 7 Years) Paid holidays Uniform Program Company Vehicle (with Fuel Card) Tablet / Mobile Phone Corporate discount program About Us For over 20 years, 6&Fix has been dedicated to serving the Triangle area.
