Deputy Store Manager

Initially this will be a designate role to cover our Strood Area and could cover several of our stores across the area. Being flexible to travel across this area would be essential for this role. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the Store Manager, take ownership across the shop floor, and step up to lead the store in their absence. As a leader of your store, flexibility across days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays will be essential. What you’ll be doing Support the Store Manager in driving sales, performance and store standards Take ownership of the shop floor, leading by example every day Step up to run the store in the Store Manager’s absence Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver their best Drive KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance What you’ll bring Experience managing a fast-paced retail or high turnover environment A strong team player with the confidence to step up and lead A passion for coaching and developing others Pride in delivering a great customer experience and high standards A hands-on attitude - ready to get involved in all areas of the store Why B&M?
