Lead Pharmacist, Ambulatory Pharmacy (Exempt)

Job Summary Responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient provision of pharmaceutical care for patients. The individual must take a leadership role in planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling all pharmacy activities. Responsibilities Ensure the effective and efficient provision of pharmaceutical care for patients. Lead planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling all pharmacy activities. Assist in process development and quality assurance data collection. Coordinate staff development in accordance with the pharmacy manager, director, and operations coordinator. Perform all responsibilities delineated in the staff pharmacist position description for the assigned practice area. Adhere to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Follow and comply with all Benefis Health System organization policies and procedures. Perform all assigned job duties or tasks as directed. Qualifications Licensed pharmacist in Montana or eligibility for licensure. Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Minimum five years of pharmacy experience in the assigned practice area. Ability to manage pressure, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to constantly changing situations. Strong interpersonal skills to handle a variety of people, manage stressful situations, and resolve conflict. Compensation Exempt position. Starting annual salary: $120,640.00.
