SEO Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in NYC is seeking an International SEO Manager to support a global streaming digital marketing team focused on improving organic visibility, discoverability, and search performance across international markets. This role is onsite in New York City 5 days a week, with working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM. Summary:The SEO Manager will lead international SEO strategy, roadmap planning, stakeholder communication, and scalable best practices across technical SEO, content SEO, localization, analytics, and AI discovery workstreams. The ideal candidate is a strong SEO generalist with hands-on international SEO experience and the ability to partner across Product, Engineering, Localization, Marketing, Content Operations, Analytics, and regional teams. Responsibilities include identifying international SEO opportunities, investigating market-specific ranking or content issues, supporting localized search experiences, building business cases, monitoring performance, conducting multi-market keyword and competitive research, and creating clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills

• 5+ years of SEO experience, including at least 1 year focused on international SEO
• Strong knowledge of hreflang, localization, regional URL structures, country and language targeting, multi-market site architecture, and global site management
• Working knowledge of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexation, rendering, canonicals, redirects, structured data, XML sitemaps, internal linking, site performance, and JavaScript SEO considerations
• Experience with international keyword research, competitive analysis, SERP analysis, market-level opportunity assessments, and SEO performance reporting
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console and familiarity with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Semrush, Botify, Screaming Frog, rank tracking platforms, or similar AI search tools. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and dataset analysis
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Localization, Content Operations, Marketing, Analytics, and regional teams to define requirements, validate releases, troubleshoot SEO issues, and optimize localized copy, metadata, landing pages, internal linking, and editorial content
• Strong communication, facilitation, project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with comfort supporting teams across regions and time zones
• Knowledge of AI discovery, answer engine optimization, and large-scale streaming, entertainment, media, or publishing websites is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
