Quantity Surveyor

Schedule: Full-time, On-site (50+ hours/week, overtime paid) Per Diem: available for qualified non-local candidates Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major industrial capital project in Hubbard, TX. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong EPC contractor background who have managed commercial and cost activities throughout the full project lifecycle on large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management, contract administration, commercial reporting, and change management while working closely with project management, engineering, construction, and subcontractors. Responsibilities Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle. Administer contracts, change orders, and variations. Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance. Review contractor and subcontractor payment applications. Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and commercial documentation. Support procurement and contract administration activities. Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Work closely with project controls, engineering, construction, and project management teams. Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation. Contribute to the development and improvement of commercial processes within a growing organization. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management experience. Strong EPC contractor experience supporting large industrial construction projects. Experience with large capital projects is highly preferred. Greenfield project experience is highly desirable; brownfield experience is also valuable. Experience managing cost control, contract administration, commercial reporting, and change management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where processes continue to evolve. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
