Senior C#/.NET Developer
Our insurance client is seeking a hands-on C#/.NET Developer to join a growing Enterprise Services team supporting the development of a new platform. This is a backend-focused role (no UI responsibilities), centered on designing and building scalable REST APIs, business logic, and data access layers using modern.NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing C# and.NET Core APIs, working with Entity Framework, implementing domain-driven design principles, and writing comprehensive unit tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET Core REST APIs
- Build and support business logic and data access layers
- Apply domain-driven design principles and best practices
- Develop and execute unit tests and perform thorough application testing
- Collaborate with a team of developers to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
- Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience with C# and.NET Core development
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with Entity Framework
- Experience with unit testing and software quality practices
- Understanding of domain-driven design concepts
- Azure experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work onsite in Downtown Manhattan 3x per week
