Job Description

The Emergency Department is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience and will be capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining a compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide treatment to patients according to established protocols.
• Perform life-saving procedures, including intubation and administering medications.
• Monitor patient progress and make changes to care plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in the implementation of STEMI and stroke protocols.
• Educate patients and family members on care plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• 3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC required.
• Previous experience in a charge role preferred.
