EP Registered Nurse

Mission Health, based in Asheville, NC, is seeking an experienced EP Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team dedicated to providing advanced cardiac care in a compassionate, patient‑centered environment. Responsibilities Prepare patients and procedure rooms, verify consents, manage pre‑procedure medications, and ensure adherence to evidence‑based protocols and infection control standards. Provide continuous hemodynamic and rhythm monitoring during EP procedures, titrate medications under provider direction, assist with device and equipment operation within scope, and rapidly respond to changes in patient condition. Coordinate post‑procedure care, including recovery monitoring, pain and symptom management, discharge teaching, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions of care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development and refinement of clinical pathways, and support process improvements that enhance patient safety and outcomes. Support ongoing professional development, continuing education, and specialty certification in electrophysiology and cardiac nursing. Qualifications Compassionate, detail‑oriented Registered Nurse with a strong clinical foundation in cardiac or critical care nursing. Excellent ECG interpretation skills and ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced, highly technical procedural environment. Strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and ability to collaborate closely with physicians and colleagues.
