System Associate Medical Director, Heart Failure Program Atlantic Health is seeking a visionary Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to serve as System Associate Medical Director, Heart Failure Program. This physician leader will oversee system‑wide heart‑failure strategy, clinical operations, quality initiatives, research, and education across Atlantic Health. Position Highlights Lead and grow advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support programs, including LVAD services Provide oversight of inpatient and outpatient heart failure programs across the health system Develop standardized care pathways and drive improvements in quality metrics, readmissions, mortality, length of stay, and transitions of care Collaborate with cardiology, cardiac surgery, hospital medicine, and advanced practice providers to optimize patient outcomes Participate in the AHS Shock Program and oversee advanced heart failure clinical operations Expand regional referral networks and strengthen relationships with external heart failure and transplant programs Lead heart failure research initiatives, including clinical trials, publications, presentations, and fellow research mentorship Oversee heart failure education for cardiology fellows and provide CME programming for physicians and staff Represent the program through national presentations, professional society involvement, and academic leadership activities Salary Range $500,000–$750,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives.
