Industrial HVAC Sales Specialist

Join our team as a Senior Sales Specialist for a well-established mechanical company serving the Indianapolis, Indiana area. This role is located in Indianapolis and covers the central Indiana territory, so candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Assistance can be provided for the right candidate.This position is focused on selling and promoting industrial HVAC systems and projects to manufacturing and industrial customers.We are seeking individuals with experience in industrial HVAC or refrigeration systems to apply for this opportunity.Working in a contractor environment, this role collaborates closely with engineering and operations teams to support project development and completion.Our company is recognized for its team-oriented culture and strong regional reputation.Responsibilities• Acquire new clients from industrial and manufacturing sectors• Cultivate relationships with plant managers, engineering professionals, and operations teams• Identify prospects for industrial HVAC and mechanical projects• Produce project budgets, proposals, and estimates• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for project success• Enhance and expand existing client connections• Manage a portfolio of refrigeration project prospectsRequirements• 5+ years experience with industrial HVAC or refrigeration systems• 5+ years experience in sales of mechanical, refrigeration, or HVAC projects• Previous involvement with a contractor or industrial services provider• Proficiency in creating project proposals, quotes, and estimates• Track record of business development and customer relationship management• Knowledge in ammonia refrigeration (preferred but not mandatory)• Familiarity with CO₂ refrigeration systems (a plus)• Excellent communication and relationship-building skillsNote: Candidates must have experience in sales of HVAC or refrigeration systems.
