Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients in our long-term care and skilled nursing facility settings. As a COTA, you will work collaboratively with our occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, assess patient progress, and provide optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in providing occupational therapy services to patients in our long-term care and skilled nursing facility settings

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with occupational therapists

• Assess patient progress and provide recommendations for modifications to treatment plans

• Utilize electronic medical records systems, including Net Health and PCC

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning

• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy interventions and strategies

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

• 0 years of experience, with preference given to candidates with experience in LTC/SNF settings

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Ability to adapt to changes in patient care and facility operations
