Job Category Food & Beverage FOH Employee Type PT Non-Exempt Description The Country Club of Virginia is seeking experienced and service-focused Server Assistants to join its Food & Beverage operations. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a premier hospitality operation! Schedule: Part-time,Tuesday-Sunday (4:00 PM-10:30 PM), 3-5 shifts a week, approximately 15-25 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver food efficiently and accurately from kitchen to dining areas, ensuring proper plate placement and presentation standards Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and culinary staff to ensure smooth service flow Support the expo line by organizing and checking orders before they are run to guests Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and expediting stations Respond quickly and professionally to server or guest requests during service Ensure guest satisfaction by handling plates with care and urgency Qualifications: Prior experience as a food runner, busser, or in a support role in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred Strong communication and coordination skills High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed What the Club Offers: Competitive hourly wage Opportunity to be part of a high-performing service team during a landmark reopening State-of-the-art kitchen and dining facilities Supportive work environment focused on professionalism and teamwork Opportunities for growth and advancement within the Club’s Food & Beverage department The Country Club of Virginia is one of America’s oldest and finest private, member-owned clubs.
