Job Summary:
TRAVEL - CST CVOR (703) is a Surgical Tech role supporting cardiovascular/OR procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. This position assists the surgical team before, during, and after cases to ensure safe, efficient, and sterile patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields, instruments, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Assist in setting up, circulating support, and maintaining accountability of instruments and sponges.
• Support surgical teams during cases by anticipating needs and passing instruments per protocol.
• Maintain sterile technique standards and ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of equipment.
• Document required intraoperative information and communicate effectively with the OR team.

Qualifications:

• Hold current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Demonstrate OR/CVOR experience with 1+ year of relevant surgical assisting in prior roles.
• Maintain basic understanding of surgical procedures and sterile processing principles.
• Possess strong aseptic technique, attention to detail, and instrument set knowledge.
• Show ability to follow safety protocols, hospital policies, and surgeon/OR team instructions.
• Provide valid credentials per facility requirements (NCCT not accepted in lieu of NBSTSA).
