The Role: We are seeking a motivated, hard-working self-starter to join our Jefferson, GA warehouse for a US-based company that has experienced rapid growth and will continue to grow at a similar rate for the foreseeable future. The Warehouse Manager will perform warehouse supervision, shipping & receiving duties to ensure customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy throughout the order fulfillment process. This role is On-Site and located in Jefferson, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily warehouse operations to ensure continuous workflow and on-time shipments. Provide training to warehouse associates and conduct performance reviews. Review all warehouse processes, keep our ISO documents up to date and participate in the audits. Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operating conditions and schedule basic maintenance.
• Enter purchase order receipts into the operating system. Communicate purchase order receiving discrepancies / issues with the appropriate team members to bring to a resolution.
• Unload and/or unpack incoming shipments, inspect, and verify product receipts against packing lists, reject damaged items and record shortages; operates forklift in accordance with corporate safety plan.
• Read and interpret work order for order needs and shipping requirements. Identify products by description and number, pull stock from inventory, and prepare packaging and labels for shipment. Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documents using carrier shipping technologies where available. If repackaging is required, repackage product as needed to meet demand.
• Set warehouse and team goals to identify improvement, productivity, and performance goals for the warehouse to improve efficiency and development of the team.
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse. Monitor process to insure rotation of inventory. Establish and maintain warehouse inventory locations and organize stock as appropriate.
• Perform warehouse and facility inspections to ensure workplace safety and compliance.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or state-recognized equivalent (such as a GED).
• A minimum of 1-3 years of warehouse management experience.
• Ability to move items weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellence verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work onsite Monday-Friday.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Other Qualifications:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or 3 years related experience and/or training.
• CLT or CWMP certificates.

Physical Requirements:

• Communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and climb stairs/ladders regularly.
• Possess mechanical dexterity to perform equipment operation.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
