Senior Accountant

Reports to: North American Controller Base Pay Range $75,000 – $85,000 per year Responsibilities Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries. Assists in the annual budget process and reports progress versus budget throughout the year. Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents. When necessary, completes external and internal audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors. Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements. Participates in re-costing of products and items. Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential. Approves and sets up new suppliers. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications BA in Accounting or equivalent. 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably make‑to‑order or engineer‑to‑order. Strong Excel skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data and extract meaning. Ability to work across functional lines with all areas of the organization. Self‑motivated and able to work independently. Experience with an integrated ERP system.
