Database Administrator

Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA)
Location: Onsite - Richland, Washington
Work authorization: US Citizen

Role Summary
The DBA manages and maintains Plant Installed SQL databases, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and compliance with NQA 1 Subpart 2.7. This role supports configuration management, database design, and optimization activities.

Responsibilities
• Configure, maintain, update, and troubleshoot SQL databases.
• Perform performance tuning, optimization, and database design.
• Develop stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and SSIS packages.
• Support configuration management and documentation requirements.
• Ensure database compliance with NQA 1 Subpart 2.7.

Education Qualification
• B.A./B.S. degree in a technical field (implied by role requirements).

Professional Experience
• Minimum five (5) years of experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with configuration management and performance management.
• Experience developing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and SSIS.
