Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Implement the Standards of Nursing Practice, which include assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.
• Provide holistic support to patients and families across various stages of life.
• Develop and update patient care plans, coordinating efforts among different disciplines.
• Engage in shared accountability and decision-making regarding nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-risk labor and delivery is essential.
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and antepartum care is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting is necessary.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
• Familiarity with the Epic electronic health records system is required.

Working Conditions

This position involves a travel contract with rotating shifts, providing a dynamic work environment that requires adaptability and teamwork.
