Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring an Interim - Director - Clinical Lab

Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, M-F

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License (required)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience (required)
• Clinical laboratory leadership/management experience at the Director, Manager, or Supervisor level (required)
• ASCP certification (required)
• BLS (required)
• Graduate of an accredited Clinical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology program (required)
• Requiring multi facility exp and employee staff management for over 600

Other Details:

• Interim Director role overseeing clinical laboratory operations: strategic program planning, policy/procedure development, annual operating budget management, staff supervision and development, and employee engagement/performance management (interviewing, feedback, evaluations, retention, disciplinary actions)
• Represents the service area with management, committees, and outside entities
• Skills required: hospital and business operations fundamentals; management principles and practices; financial and budgeting operations; knowledge and application of lab laws, regulations, and professional standards; strong oral and written communication and customer service; presentation development and delivery; handling sensitive or controversial issues; analyzing and interpreting professional material and financial reports
• Two professional references required

The Pay Range for this position is $4,700.00 - $5,100.00. Please note that all pay rates are gross weekly pay estimates. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, shift, skill set, location and stipends, etc.
