Position Overview Fetch is seeking a Pet Insurance Sales Associate to join our team at the San Diego Humane-Escondido partner location in Escondido, CA. The role focuses on converting prospective pet parents into loyal customers by providing top‑notch pet insurance solutions and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to sell Fetch pet insurance policies to prospective pet parents at the partner location. Communicate Fetch’s competitive advantages and demonstrate a deep understanding of our and competitor products. Turn prospects into loyal clients, repeat customers, and advocates. Accurately record prospect and customer information in Fetch CRM. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel at partner locations to meet performance objectives and partner expectations monthly. Proactively assess partner needs through onsite focus and follow‑up meetings. Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for new business. Communicate with peers via chat to share challenges and successes. Virtually attend monthly company meetings or check‑ins as required. Manage expense budget and submit completed reports monthly. Handle all administrative tasks related to the partnership. Live up to Fetch’s commitment to continuously exceed customer expectations. Skills & Experience Must work peak hours (Friday‑Sunday) to maximize sales opportunities. Active P&C license or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of employment (subject to state requirements). 3‑5 years in an animal care or related role. Passion for prospecting new sales opportunities and enjoying face‑to‑face interactions. Knowledge of animal health or welfare a plus, not required. Ability to act independently within a fast‑paced sales cycle. Proven success building relationships with a consultative, solution‑focused approach. Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written). Willingness to travel to industry events as required.
