Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Saturday/Sunday). Holiday coverage required: must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs. Call-off policy allows facility to cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks.

• Level III NICU experience with exposure to neonatal abstinence syndrome, respiratory distress management, and neurologic care for neonates 29-34 weeks and >34 weeks
• Patient ratios: 1:1 to 1:3 in NICU; 1:4 in IMCU, varying by census and acuity
• EPIC charting system with Crib Notes documentation
• Float requirements include Newborn Nursery, Pediatrics, and PICU assignments with appropriate patient matching
• Will not attend high-risk deliveries or be assigned Level IV patients, ECMO, or fresh post-operative cases
• First-time travelers and local candidates accepted at the same rate

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of NICU Level III experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Proficiency in IV management, blood product administration, medication management (anti-seizure drugs, antibiotics/antivirals, steroids), and neonatal dosage calculations
• Experience with cardiovascular monitoring/telemetry, ventilator management for intubated patients, respiratory support including HFNC and oxygen delivery systems
• Skills in breastfeeding support, enteral feedings, tube placement, glucose monitoring, insulin administration, phototherapy, and developmental care
• Comfortable floating to Newborn Nursery, Pediatrics, and PICU within skillset
• Former employees must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a travel nurse
