About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Hackensack Meridian Health provides direct patient care for a specific population, focusing on achieving desired health outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering high-quality care. Highlights Location: Old Bridge, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire #J-18808-Ljbffr IntelliResume
