Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will: Teach four to five courses (graduate and undergraduate level) per academic semester as assigned by the chair Advise majors as needed Provide service, including, but not limited to, departmental, college, and/or university committee work Faculty may teach during the summer semesters for additional compensation (subject to performance and availability) Required Qualifications: One of the following: Ph.D. in criminal justice or criminology, a J.D., a Master’s degree in law/legal studies, or a Master’s degree in criminal justice with significant experience in courts/law. A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
