Overview Internal Wholesaler II, a key member of Pacific Life’s Life Insurance Sales Desk, drives sales and market share growth by consulting with financial professionals across assigned regions. The role combines territory management, consultative selling, and relationship building to meet sales goals and expand product penetration. Responsibilities Work to achieve all assigned territory sales goals. Master every aspect of the IW Sales process to serve as a consultative business partner to financial professionals. Turn every touch into a sales opportunity or enhance the field relationship. Add value to each call by identifying sales opportunities, such as determining the ideal client for each concept. Seek out opportunities through relationship building and prospecting. Own region(s) with accountability for success. Follow up on commitments, illustrations, and informal cases. Execute FM team list. Host virtual meetings with advisors and/or POS. Assist in calendar management with FW, Sales Associates, or Scheduler. Maintain consistent activity levels as set by leadership. Identify personal and professional development goals and create a plan to achieve them. Be engaged and available during agreed business hours based on geographic coverage needs. Adhere to Pacific Life Code of Conduct, industry, and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications Expert level territory management. Advanced relationship‑building and networking skills. In‑depth knowledge of concepts, products, and illustrations. Recognized as a resource within the team/channel. Active participation in departmental initiatives. Promotion of Pacific Life culture. Mentorship of other IWs to improve skills. Self‑awareness and professionalism. Demonstrated initiative. What Makes You Stand Out FINRA SIE, Series 6/7, and 63 license (required within 90 days of hire). Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a financial services environment, preferably with a life‑insurance background. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented sales professional. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexible and professional demeanor. Compensation Base salary ranges and target compensation vary by location. For example, in Omaha: Internal Wholesaler I – $67,000 base with target $88,300; Internal Wholesaler II – $73,000 base with target $96,100. In Newport Beach: Internal Wholesaler I – $71,000 base with target $92,300; Internal Wholesaler II – $77,000 base with target $100,100. Base pay ranges are minimum and maximum; actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Additional incentive pay may be available.
