Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Overnight Highrise Corporate Building Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:30 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:30 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
