QA/QC Technician - Solar & BESS Projects

As our project portfolio continues to grow across the United States, we are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. What you'll do Lead on-site quality assurance and quality control activities throughout project execution. Your responsibilities will include: Implementing and enforcing the Project Quality Plan (PQP). Performing inspections of civil, electrical, and mechanical works to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards (IEC, NEC, OSHA, etc.). Verifying the quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship across all project phases. Identifying, documenting, and tracking non-conformances (NCRs), while ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented. Maintaining complete and traceable quality records, including ITPs, inspection reports, checklists, test records, and as-built documentation. Reviewing and validating quality documentation from suppliers and subcontractors. Ensuring delivered equipment and materials meet contractual and technical requirements. Collaborating closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction teams, and the Owner's Engineer to support successful project delivery. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in utility-scale solar, BESS, energy, or civil/electrical construction projects. Strong understanding of solar PV and BESS construction processes, including civil, electrical, and mechanical scopes. Experience with quality management systems, document control platforms, and project management tools such as SharePoint, Procore, or similar. Familiarity with applicable industry standards and regulations. QA/QC certifications (ASQ CQT, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or similar) are a plus. Spanish language skills are a plus. Why join Diverxia?
