Shift: M-F Days
Job Description:
Performs diagnostic exams on patients in the specialized areas of mammography, computed tomography, and special procedures. Uses specialized equipment, techniques and/or computer programs to perform the work.
Procedures and protocols associated with area of assignment; specialized equipment used in area of assignment; radiography protocols and procedures; quality assurance and quality control measures; personal computers; anatomy and physiology of the human body; contrast application and contrast reaction symptoms; venipuncture techniques; department and hospital safety practices and principles; patient rights; age specific patient care practices; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
- Previous 3 (three) years experience in performing CT exams in a Trauma setting.
- Valid State of Nevada License in Radiology.
- Valid American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) Registered in Computed Tomography .
