The Challenge (Job Summary):

The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting patients and providers by answering medical questions, chart management, and running patient reports. Set schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 8am-8pm. Must be able to work weekends.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Answer patient calls after hours, relay patient messages, and communicate urgent patient concerns with providers as needed.
• Document thoroughly within patient charts of our electronic medical record system
• Assist our clinicians with patient reports
• Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medical records
• Complies with all HIPAA regulations and policies
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Diploma Required
• Minimum of one year work experience in public contact job. Preferable in a medical office environment
• Current CMA or RMA or current LPN
