Human Resources Business Partner

We are partnering with a leading manufacturer seeking an HR Business Partner for its manufacturing facility near Des Moines, Iowa. This position will support employees and plant leadership across employee relations, recruitment, retention, compliance, training and performance management. Responsibilities: Partner with plant leadership to develop strategies for recruiting, developing and retaining a skilled workforce Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, application review, candidate screening and interviews Provide guidance to supervisors and managers regarding employee relations, performance management and company policies Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently Review new-hire paperwork, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and other employment transactions for accuracy Support employee onboarding and orientation Collect and analyze HR data, prepare reports and recommend appropriate courses of action Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual HR compliance audits and training Assist with affirmative action and employment-law compliance initiatives Identify, develop and facilitate employee training programs Provide day-to-day supervision and support to HR team members Participate in HR strategy, safety and continuous-improvement initiatives Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR documentation Promote a safe and healthy workplace while ensuring compliance with company safety policies Follow applicable safety, quality and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered 3–5 years of human resources experience within a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, employment law and HR best practices Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization Strong organizational, analytical and computer skills Previous supervisory experience preferred PHR, SHRM-CP or another relevant HR certification preferred Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Clark Resources
