This position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role, with a comprehensive benefits package available upon hire by our client.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced carpenter or an individual with construction knowledge who is eager to develop new skills and grow a long-term career in the restoration, remodeling, renovation, and reconstruction industry.Position SummaryThe Carpenter will perform a variety of rough and finish carpentry tasks on residential and commercial reconstruction projects resulting from fire, water, storm, and other property damage. This position works directly on job sites, collaborating with project managers and construction professionals to restore properties safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.The ideal candidate is dependable, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach. Candidates with experience in carpentry, remodeling, renovations, home improvement, restoration, property maintenance, or general construction are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform all phases of rough and finish carpentry.Complete reconstruction, remodeling, repair, and restoration projects.Follow project plans, scopes of work, and direction from project management teams.Troubleshoot and resolve job-site challenges as they arise.Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and organization.Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, subcontractors, and team members.Meet project deadlines while maintaining company quality standards.Travel to residential and commercial job sites throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Construction, carpentry, remodeling, restoration, or related experience preferred, but not required.General knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices is helpful.Willingness to learn and develop new skills through hands-on training.Comfortable using smartphones and mobile technology.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends as needed.Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 65 pounds.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to successfully pass a background check.Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.Why Consider This Opportunity?Temp-to-hire position with long-term career potential.Opportunity to join a growing and respected restoration and reconstruction team.Hands-on training and skill development.Variety of residential and commercial projects.Career advancement opportunities for motivated individuals.Full benefits package available upon permanent hire with our client.This position is being recruited on behalf of our client, a leading restoration and reconstruction organization serving Southeastern Wisconsin.
