Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room throughout all phases of surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during cardiovascular and open-heart surgical cases
• Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards of care
• Ensure proper handling, preparation, and sterilization of cardiovascular surgical instruments and equipment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
• Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel contract with a projected start date in early September 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures including open-heart and valve cases
• Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR setting
