Business Intelligence Data Analyst
Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data driven decision making across banking, financial, operational, risk, and compliance functions. This role is ideal for a data professional who enjoys transforming complex information into meaningful insights, reports, dashboards, and scalable analytical solutions.
What You'll Do
- Analyze banking, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define KPIs.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows using Microsoft data platforms.
- Contribute to the development and support of a Microsoft based data warehouse and analytics environment.
- Validate data accuracy and support enterprise data quality initiatives.
- Document data definitions, business rules, reporting processes, and transformation logic.
- Support regulatory, audit, and risk reporting requirements with reliable data assets.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable reporting solutions.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent education, technical training, or directly related experience.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft based analytics tools.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, reporting layers, data quality, data governance, and KPI development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Three to five years of experience in data validation, data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analyst role.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, Power BI, data warehousing, large datasets, KPI reporting, and business stakeholder support.
- Banking, financial services, or regulated industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure based data services, or modern analytics platforms preferred.
This is a hybrid role based out of Camp Hills, PA. The salary range is $80,000 - $109,000 based on experience. The client is unable to provide any sponsorship, now or in the future.
