We’re working with an innovative, fast-growing technology company supporting advanced engineering and manufacturing programs for the U.S. Department of Defense—and they need a Buyer ASAP. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work across departments and play a critical part in keeping operations running smoothly. Pay Rate: $25–$35/hr Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM + Friday (8-hour day every other week) Role & Responsibilities Manage materials planning, procurement, and inventory control to ensure production timelines are met. Review, maintain, and update the supplier database to ensure accurate and reliable sourcing information. Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong relationships with both domestic and international suppliers. Ensure cost efficiency and quality standards are consistently met throughout the purchasing process. Stay current on industry pricing trends to support competitive and strategic purchasing decisions. Ensure compliance with export control regulations and purchasing best practices. Adjust procurement plans as needed based on design changes, part shortages, or evolving customer demands. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field, or a high school diploma with 1–3 years of purchasing experience. Ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and mathematical skills to support purchasing decisions and cost analysis. Working knowledge of customs and export control regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and vendor interaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data tracking and analysis. U.S. Citizenship is required.
