Sales Estimator / Business Development

Commercial Drywall Contractor | East Bay, CA

A well-established and growing commercial drywall contractor in the East Bay is seeking a Sales Estimator / Business Development professional to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full lifecycle of a project—from developing relationships and identifying opportunities to estimating work and closing deals.

This is a long-term opportunity with a respected contractor that values professionalism, performance, and internal growth.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new business relationships with general contractors, owners, and repeat clients

• Identify upcoming commercial drywall opportunities in the East Bay market

• Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and proposals for commercial drywall projects

• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

• Collaborate with operations and project management to ensure smooth handoffs

• Negotiate pricing and close awarded projects

• Track leads, bids, and project outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in commercial drywall estimating and/or sales

• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

• Proven relationship-building and business development skills

• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
