Engineering Project ManagerOverview: The Project Manager provides expertise and support in a variety of areas including:Client ManagementFacilitates and Ensures Operational EfficiencyResource Planning and CoordinationQuality AssuranceSchedule Development and SupportEngineering Effort EstimationCapital Cost EstimationStaff and Cost ForecastingProposal PreparationEffort Hour Metric InterpretationReports To: Engineering Operations ManagerBasic Duties:Ensure planning for, and efficient use of, engineering resourcesMonitor and facilitate timely delivery of project deliverablesCalibrate deliverables to an appropriate level required by Salas O'Brien standards and project needsManage client, supplier, and subcontractor expectations and coordinationDevelop, interpret, and maintain effort hour metricsSpecific Duties:Management Ensure timeliness of Project Kick Off Meetings, SMACC reviews, Project Close Out Meetings, and Project ReportingCollaborate and support weekly resource planningEngineering project scope managementCost forecastingFacilitate effective communication and information exchange between the project team (including owner, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors)Engineering Develop engineering estimates and proposalsSupport and execute conceptual, preliminary, and detail engineeringDevelop project capital cost estimatesQualifications:Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or Management2+ years' experience in engineering (preferably related to construction or heavy industrial)Excellent communications skills, highly organized, detail oriented, and a positive attitudeMinimal travel is required.Able to lift 25 pounds, ascend industrial structures unaidedEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
