Program Specialist

Mentor Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community‑based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Program Director, IDD Services Location: Northeast, Philadelphia Starting Salary: $53,500‑$55,000 Mission‑driven role overseeing day‑to‑day operations of 1‑4 community programs, including direct support implementation, person‑centered planning, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, recruitment, staffing, training, safety, financial management, and facility maintenance. Manage program staff members: performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation. Make decisions on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective actions, and terminations. Implement program planning, monitor service delivery, and ensure services remain engaging and relevant. Provide on‑call support to staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 2‑3 years of related experience in Human Services (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. State‑required education, training, licensure, or certification as needed. Current driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask to meet deadlines. Effective communication skills and strong relationship‑building ability.
