This role follows all CLIA and regulatory requirements and leverages your expertise across multiple lab disciplines.Lead and support daily operations of your assigned lab sectionServe as a trusted technical resource for physicians and clinical teamsDrive quality and performance improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standardsOversee quality assurance programs and monitor results accuracyEvaluate team performance and support staff developmentMaintain and update policies, procedures, and documentationIdentify and resolve testing issues to ensure optimal performancePerform complex laboratory testing across multiple areas (Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Microbiology, and more)Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of lab equipmentSupport safe, compliant operations aligned with hospital policiesAssist with LIS/POC functions and other operational initiatives as neededQualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAININGASCP certification, or equivalent, requiredRequires two years of clinical laboratory work experience that cover all areas of a clinical laboratory.Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIACurrent and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required.Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
